The Academy at Forest View is the therapeutic day program in District 214. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive and structured setting in which students can work to achieve their goals, realize their potential, and find success in high school.
Our dedicated staff works collaboratively to motivate students who have struggled in the larger comprehensive high schools. A clinician and a homeroom teacher supports all of our students. Each student participates in at least two social work groups. While some students strive to integrate back to their home schools, others will choose to stay at The Academy until they graduate.
With the individualized approach that we are able to provide in our small setting, students are able to focus on academics, behavior and attendance. We are proud to be a PBIS school that provides a Social Emotional Learning curriculum, and offers students every opportunity to graduate from high school, with a solid plan for the future.
Proud to be a Falcon...
